I don't Wanna!

This week has been such a pain in the butt! I can't seem to find my exercise groove. I have been doing really short workouts because I can't make myself do the usual...sigh. maybe I need a easy week I don't know?

Anyway, Sunday I did 2 miles plus the shred its getting easier to do:)
Monday I walked/jogged 1 mile indoors then went outside to my park for another mile then come...it is so hot and muggy outside right now yuck!
Tuesday I got two miles on the treddie done barely though then I biked for 12 minutes the I was done:)

Eating is good weight is staying down at 157.5 just my workout mojo is off for some reason or other. I feel fine just have a case of the I don't wanna's.

What do you do when you have the I don't wanna exercise blues?

  1. If it keeps up, I don't. I take a rest - and I mean a true rest. Usually after about 3 days, I'm rarin' to go. It really is okay to do that once in a while.

  2. I am with Helen - don't push it if you aren't feeling it - that being said, I am sticking with my bike machine because I love it - not sure if doing the same thing every day will hurt me though - although each ride is different, i.e. some are sprints and some are hill climbs.

I'll weigh in tomorrow for the first time in a month - we'll see!

  3. Helen's got this one down cold. Exercise shouldn't feel like punishment. Take a rest and you'll be back at it in now time.

  4. There's a difference between not wanting to do it, and UGH I DON'T WANT TO EXERCISE...and when the latter hits, it's time to take a short break.

  5. I do short exercises so that I've done something instead of doing nothing. If it continues I take a rest, after the rest there comes a day I want to exercise again.

Good for you that you did something!

  6. I don't exercise OR I force myself to exercise. It all depends.

  7. I usually bargain with myself that I'll go for five minutes - if I just can't keep going I'll stop - but most of the time I can keep going. I'll often times slow down a bit, but finish my walk.

  8. It really depends on how much I've been pushing myself and for how long. If I've been doing well then I give myself the day off and if not I just push through it.

A good rest will rejuvenate you and help your next workouts go better so don't worry about a rest here and there!
